Home Remedies for Joint Pain

Joint pain is a very common problem among men and women who are in age of between 40 to 60. Joint pain can occur in any joint of the body like arms, knees, ankles, etc. Some home and natural ingredients can help you cure joint pain while staying at home.

  • Massage is a very soothing and effective treatment for joint pain. Give a gentle massage to the affected part of the body using good essential oil. It is better to heat the oil before you apply it to the body. Heat oil massage is considered more effective in lessen the pain of joints.

  • Also take hot and cold compress to ease the joint pain. For cold compress, wrap ice in the thin cloth and put it on the affected part of the body for at least 5 minutes. A Hot compress can be taken using a towel soaked in the warm water.

  • Take 1 glass of warm milk and add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder in milk and drink it. Daily use of turmeric would help you soon to come out of the problem of joint pain.
